NY Stadium

Both Guy and I felt we needed to return to Earth. There was much that needed to be handled. After what Blade said to us, I was concerned. We left Vampi and went on to Earth. I wanted to go with Guy but I needed to find out about what was happening about the Vampires… While I was talking with an old witch about getting some Dragon breath my cell rang. It was Guy he asked me to get ready. He said that Fred the fox had a plan and we could meet at the Yankee Stadium. As we were approaching I saw that a band of Vampires was attacking the Stadium. I guess it looked like a chicken coup to these predators… With the Spear of destiny and my sword I flipped down in the field as panic fans and people ran from the Vampires. My sword was useless. Even the Holy light of my Spear did not destroy the vampires… I saw Guy and he was fighting but the Vampires were regenerating and not dying…. "WTF?" Guy screamed… "Lilith has been resurrected. Only UV rays and Dragon breath and fire can destroy them…" I screamed pulling the Dragon breath wand and using it… Guy summoned several magical Dragons… Though they are not real ancient Dragons the power of their breath and fire wield the same power…. Ash rained down from the blackened Sky…. Guy and I looked at the Blackened dot in the sky. Guy put an arm around me, "Is that the sun?" "Yes and if Vampi can't undo what has been done it will stay like this." Before I could say another word… "NOW, YOU PATHETIC WORMS, YOU WILL PAY FOR ALL THE PAIN AND SUFFERING YOU CAUSE ME. YOU WILL PAY WITH YOU LIVES!" Onslaught appeared "This is insanity!" I yell wanting to approach him alone and reach Xavier but Guy grabbed me and Fred telepathically stated I stick to the plan. "Don't waste your breath, Amber. This jerkwad can't hear you. Now we finish it." Guy spit in Onslaught's direction… The battle was happing so fast and I hesitated…. I gripped my sword, Charles was inside this thing…. I then used my sword to sever the helmet… Onslaught grabbed me and lifted me in the air… I gasp trying to speak and reach Charles but the crushing hand kept any of my words from coming out… Then Jon came out of no where… Guy ran over and was pulling me away from Onslaught… Finally after the efforts of all involved Onslaught screamed, ""FINE. IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THE GIFTS I GIVE YOU, THEN SO BE IT." Onslaught disappeared and Xavier fell gasping to the ground. He then looked up at Guy and me. I stood and went to speak with Charles… Guy grabbed me, "Amber, don't do this to yourself…" I kissed Guy, "He deserves better than me just to ignore that I have hurt him." Guy watched as I walked to Charles. The Professor looked away from me, "So it is more than affair? Well it seems you have made your choice…" I knelt down, "It wasn't my intention to hurt you. I wish you could believe that. Guy is…" "IS a VILLAIN, Maggie!" Charles yelled at me I shook my head, "No he has made some wrong choices but I believe he can change. Someone just needs to believe in him. Can't you see Charles? All we, you and I, had was Lust.. What do you know about me? You don't even know my real name? Guy is helping me put the pieces of my life together but Charles you help pull me from the Churches influence.. You were kind and …. I am sorry." I rose and walked over to Guy, "but your right I have made my choice. I know Guy will not leave my side and that is what I need." I went out of the Stadium… Guy approached and wrapped his arm around me…. Our attention was drawn to the howling of wolves… "SO we going after Lilith?" Guy asked… I shrugged, "You want to die and become her zombie? She was damned to Hades for a reason Guy. Here on Earth she is powerful, unstoppable. Lilith and ending the eternal night is Vampi's task. Now that I have returned I must find out what and who attacked the Cardinal. I also have to find my brother, if it is possible… " "There is a price on your head still Amber." Guy stated "I know, I am heading to the church. You do not have to come." I kissed Guy and then proceeded to the Church where Cardinal Hermann was killed. Something killed him and the church wouldn't harm me…. not in front of witnesses and with so many Vampires and werewolves, people would be flocking to the Church. The Church would not be able to protect them though, not with Lilith feeding them. These were uber Vampires…. Dangerous creatures… The people rallying in the church would be in danger….
